In my September ipsy bag I got Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. I like trying masks, so I thought I’d give these a whirl one morning when I had lots of time to get ready, and was feeling a bit tired. I was hoping these would help wake my eyes up.

When you’re run down and stressed out, the delicate skin under your eyes really takes a beating, resulting in puffiness and premature wrinkling.

In just ten minutes, this cooling transdermal gel patch infuses the eye area with concentrated doses of soothing ingredients to firm, tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Peptides and botanicals improve blood flow and reduce puffiness while advanced antioxidants help prevent future damage. The patch, a cutting-edge delivery system, is easy to both apply and remove and is non-irritating.

When you open the pack, the eye gels are in a little plastic tray. They have a fuzzy side, and a paper covered side. I was obviously tired, because it took a few second of wondering how these would stay in place before I realized the paper peels off. Duh! It was the tray that confused me, honest.

Once the paper is removed, the jelly side of the product is revealed. These stick and stay on, yet are easy to peel off and adjust.

The gels felt a bit cool when first applied, but that was the only sensation or effect I saw. My eyes looked and felt no different after I removed the gels.

Buy again?: No, I didn’t see or feel any difference. I have one set left, so I might try putting them in the fridge before using, as I’ve seen this suggested as a great way to heighten the cooling effect.

  1. That’s too bad that they didn’t really have any effect, you’d expect them to at least do a little something.

  2. these look like fun! which is good since they didn’t do anything 😛
