I had so much fun doing a crazy eye look last weekend that I decided to do another one earlier this week. Since May is about flowers, I went with a flower eye look.

This isn’t exactly what I’d call an everyday wearable look, but it is fun and colourful.

Flower eye make-up

I used a large number of products to achieve this look.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream
Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder in Brunette
Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Almay Intense I-Color Eyeliner in Brown Topaz
Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in I Have a Green
Essence Quattro Eyeshadow in Purple Day
Essence Mono Eyeshadow in Here I Am
Hard Candy Ginormous Lash in Carbon Black

Almay Liquid Lipbalm in Just Plum Good

I started by doing my face. All over with the BB cream, contour cheeks with bronzing powder, and then blush on top of cheeks. Minimal fuss and work.

My eyes are where all the work went. I started by drawing a line along my lashes, with a long tail, using the brown liner. I then went over it with the green liner for more colour and depth.

I outlined the line with my NYX Milk pencil to create a white base to help the colours pop.

I used small lip liner brush to dab on each colour of eyeshadow. I started with purple, then did blue, and ended by adding a few pink highlights.

I finished the look with 2 coats of mascara.

I did one eye completely before doing the other one.

Overall, I love this look. It’s something fun and different. I did wear it all day, although I was mostly at home, so not many people saw it in person. I wear glasses, which means you couldn’t see the flowers easily as my glasses hide them straight on. It’s only when you looked at an angle or from the side that the flowers seemed to pop into view.
