I recently tried out a very whimsical look using a glitter crelly polish named Pegasus Fluff from Dashing Housewife Polish and combined it with some feather decals from the Born Pretty Store. The result is a look that I love even more than I thought I would.

Just look at how pretty that is!

Dashing Housewife Polish in Pegasus Fluff and Born Pretty Store Feather Water Decals

I started by painting my index, ring and pinky fingers with 2 coats of Dashing Housewife Polish in Pegasus Fluff. This polish is a white crelly filled with pink, blue and purple glitter in a variety of shapes and sizes. The polish applied easily and was opaque in 2 coats. The glitter is well distributed and I didn’t have to fish or place anything, just swipe and go.

I did the accent nails by painting a white base on my middle and thumb nails and letting them dry completely. I then added a feather water decal to each finger and topped with top coat. The water decals had instructions on the back of the package (cut out, submerge in water for 20-30 seconds, remove from paper backing and apply to nail, drying with a paper towel). The instructions were easy to follow, and worked with no issues.

I was surprised at how flat the decals laid on my nails. One coat of top coat and I can’t see or feel the edges of the decals.

I love how this turned out. As a result, I have a few extra photos to share since I just kept taking them.

  1. The combination is beautiful! I love the feather stickers – I would never, ever think to use that but it came out so well mixed with the speckled polish.

    • Thanks! I had a bunch of new nail polishes and nail art supplies on my table, and my eye immediately went to this combination.

  2. I had a nail polish similar from I think Girlybits? It was called Jawbreaker… loved it!

  3. THIS IS SO COOL!!! It totally reminds me of unicorns and My Little Ponies!
