I always know a month is almost over when my monthly Topbox arrives. It almost always makes me stop and realize how fast time is moving, which isn’t fun, but opening my box to see new goodies makes up for it.
The products I received this month:
Jor’El Parker Fango Mud Therapy – I love masks! This one is meant for face or body, but with just a small sample, it will be used on my face for sure.
Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Gilt – Cream eye products and my eyelids don’t usually mix well, but this is a really unique shade, so I’ll be trying it out.
Revlon Professional Equave Instant Beauty Hydro Nutritive Detangling Leave-in Conditioner – Longest name ever. But I’ve already used this a few times, and it does detangle nicely, without making my hair feel like it has product in it.
Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Hydrating Shield – Another super long name. But another product I’ll try out since sunscreen is important, regardless of the weather or temperature.
Overall, I’m really happy with this month’s products. The only one that I’m not sure about is the eye product, but that’s only because of the format.
If you want to get your own Topbox (referral link), it costs $12 per month (this is the only option), and you get 4 deluxe samples per box. They often have special “Prive” boxes that you can select as your preferred option every month, and some (but not all) people who wish for that box will get it instead of the normal box.
Since this month had a makeup product in it, I went the extra step and swatched it. Like I mentioned, the colour is quite unique. It’s an antique gold-khaki-brown.
When I tried it on my eye, I found the colour much less intense though. It looked much more brown and neutral than I expected. I was able to blend it a bit, but that took away most of the colour. I found that the product lasted a few hours, but it creased like I thought it would. My eyelids just don’t like cream products.
