Nov 302016

I’m squeaking in my November Topbox unboxing on the very last day of the month. At least I’m not late!

Like usual, I received the regular Topbox selection. I don’t think I’ve ever requested a Prive box.

The products I received this month are:

Bliss Body Butter in Lemon+Sage – This smells light and fresh. I think it will be a refreshing product to use after a morning shower to try to help wake me up.

Smashbox Full Exposure mascara – I love mascara samples, especially ones I haven’t tried before. I think I’ll put this into my 2017 Q1 batch to try (yes, I switch my mascara every quarter, and usually have 3-4 open at once).

Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream – I’ve received this before, and know I don’t like it, so this will be going straight into the giveaway pile.

China Glaze in Don’t Mesh with Me – I obviously love receiving nail polish. I don’t have this one yet, so I had to swatch it up.

This polish is a fun topper that looks so different when layered over black and white. It is possible to build up the colour on it’s own, but it has way more impact over a base.

Overall, I’m really happy with this month’s products. There is only one that I’m not excited to receive, so that’s pretty successful.

If you want to get your own Topbox (referral link), it costs $12 per month (this is the only option), and you get 4 deluxe samples per box. They often have special “Prive” boxes that you can select as your preferred option every month, and some (but not all) people who wish for that box will get it instead of the normal box.

  1. The nail polish is super pretty! What a great fall/winter topper shade.

Why don’t you like the 8 hour cream? I’ve been curious to try it as I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews, so I’d love to hear your perspective.

    • The cream stinks and is greasy. It’s good for really dry skin, like when my knuckles get so dry they crack and bleed, but the smell is very strong and pungent. It reminds me of lanolin.
