I’m back with a second nail art look using the CND Vinylux New Wave Collection. This trio reminded me of a sunset, so I used that as my inspiration.

As I mentioned in my other nail art post, I won the CND Vinylux New Wave Collection in a giveaway, and split the polishes into two trios in order to showcase them in different nail art looks.

For this look, I created a gradient look using CND Vinylux in Banana Clips, Jelly Bracelet, and Ecstacy. I didn’t actually blend them together, I created bands of colour, but the natural switch from yellow to orange to pink created a gradient illusion.

This illusion is heightened by stamping a pattern on top. I used Wet n Wild in Ebony Hates Chris to stamp a lace pattern from the BPL-030 stamping plate.

I really like the end result. It’s bright and fun and screams summer, which is a nice change from the winter weather outside.

Overall, I’m very happy with the CND Vinylux New Wave Collection, and look forward to hopefully adding more CND Vinylux to my collection in the future. Their colour selection is just so fun!
