Remember in December when I reviewed a pair of Sudio Sweden Vasa Bla earphones? I loved the functionality, but after a while I found my ears started to hurt, so my hubby snatched them away. When I saw Sudio Sweden released a new over-the-ear style, I just had to try them. (Note: all links in this post are shortened to allow tracking, but all point to http://www.sudiosweden.com)
I received a pair of Sudio Sweden Regent headphones in black, along with a pair of Selva Rossa caps, so I could style them to match my hair (always an important feature). These are Bluetooth wireless with a built-in microphone.
Let me repeat: these have a built-in microphone. And having tested it, the quality of the audio is as good as when I use my iPhone earphones, for both listening and speaking.
These are very comfortable to wear. The ear pieces are super padded, and don’t make my ears sore. The band is adjustable, and fits me well on the smallest setting (yes, I have a small head, about the same size as my 7 year old son, who also fits these headphones).
The ear caps are really easy to remove, just push and turn 90 degrees, and they pop right out. I like that the caps can be replaced, as it lets you add a bit of personality to your set. There is a limited selection of styles right now, but this pink fern style is perfect for me.
Just like the other Sudio Sweden earphones I tried, these came fully charged. I’ve been using them for hours, and haven’t needed to charge them yet. They claim to have 24+ hours of playtime, and I believe it.
Also like the other earphones, these are really noise cancelling. Put these on, and the rest of the world fades away. It does create that slightly weird echo inside your head when you speak, but it’s not as disorienting as the in-ear ones are.
Overall, I’m totally in love with these Sudio Sweden Regent earphones. I love the wireless setup, find the over-the-ear construction to be very comfortable, and having a built-in mic makes them super useful.
If you’d like to buy a pair yourself, Sudio Sweden always offers tax-free purchases and fast, free worldwide delivery (seriously, it took less than a week to receive mine from Estonia to BC, Canada), and even better, I have an exclusive 15% off discount code for you to use: workadaybeauty
Tell me: do you like in-ear or over-ear headphones better?
