We’re nearing the end of February, and that means it’s time for my Topbox unboxing. Also that spring is almost here, but that’s because spring tends to come early to the west coast, sorry rest of the country.
Like usual, I received a normal box, not a special Prive one and it contained:
Skyn Iceland Plumping Lip Gel – I love taking face mask photos because they amuse me, and I have a feeling this lip gel patch will be just as fun.
St. Tropica Hot Oil Treatment Botanically Infused Coconut Oil – I remember using my mom’s hot oil hair treatments as a kid, and thought they were awesome. I’m rather nostalgic to see what this one is like.
Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat – Makeup in Topbox? So exciting!
CND Vinylux in Rouge Rite – And nail polish? Be still my beating heart!
Bonus – Sample of Smashbox Cover Shot eye palette in Golden Hour – these palettes look so nice, and I like that we got a little sample to try out.
I can’t believe that I got makeup and nail polish in this month’s box! I love it. It seems to happen so rarely that it’s like an extra special treat. I jumped on trying them right away.
Driver’s Seat is described as a warm pink on the Smashbox site, but that doesn’t feel quite accurate. The colour is more like a soft neutral brick shade. It applied easily, dried quickly, was very comfortable, and really lasted. I was impressed at the feel and wear, but the colour isn’t for me.
If you want to get your own Topbox (referral link), it costs $12 per month (this is the only option), and you get 4 deluxe samples per box. They often have special “Prive” boxes that you can select as your preferred option every month, and some (but not all) people who wish for that box will get it instead of the normal box.
